Apply Now →Brunei Darussalam follows a 12-year SPN21 (Sistem Pendidikan Negara Abad ke-21) education system introduced in 2009. The Ministry of Education oversees all levels of schooling. English and Malay (Bahasa Melayu) are both official languages and mediums of instruction. The academic year runs from January to November. Brunei's education system has strong British influences, reflected in its use of O-Level and A-Level qualifications.
